Known as a kind and gentle soul, Mike was more than just a victim—he was a beloved member of the community whose loss has left a lasting void.

The incident happened near J.L. Cook Memorial Park, where Wilson was fatally shot during what authorities described as a violent confrontation. Despite quick response from emergency personnel, Wilson passed away at the scene, leaving behind grieving family, friends, and neighbors struggling to come to terms with the sudden and devastating news.
